We all thought the drama between Portable and his fourth baby mama, Ashabi, had finally come to an end — but it appears we were mistaken.
Taking to Instagram, the singer and father of six shared a screenshot of his chat with Ashabi, alleging that she had taken his name to an Alfa (Islamic cleric) for prayers. According to Portable, the actress had come to plead with him because she didn’t want to lose him, but he doubted her sincerity.
He claimed that a “spirit” prompted him to check her phone, where he discovered messages showing that she had sought spiritual help to make him love her more. Portable, however, mocked her efforts, saying she didn’t realize he was the one who had “tied her down spiritually.”
The Zazuu crooner went on to warn the public to caution Ashabi, alleging that she was already crushing on another man despite living with him.

“Ashabi came to beg me because she doesn’t want to lose me. Something told me to check her phone, and I saw she took my name to an Alfa so I could love her. She doesn’t know I was the one who tied her down spiritually.
Ashabi, don’t think your charms are working — I chose to love you. Everyone should warn her to stop taking my name to an Alfa. I even saw in her chat that she’s crushing on another man and sent his name to the Alfa for prayers. You’re in a man’s house praying about another man — what does that mean?”
Naijabrain earlier reported that the singer, in a leaked chat shared on his Instagram page, lashed out at the mother of two of his children for allegedly trying to destroy his marriage once again. Portable described Ashabi as the biggest mistake of his life, accusing her of being responsible for chasing away one of his former lovers, Queen Dami.
In response to his outburst, Ashabi noted that this wasn’t the first time Portable had publicly dragged her. She urged the public to ignore the drama and act as though nothing happened. The actress also expressed frustration that her relationship with the singer was making her look like a failure, insisting that no one should offer her unsolicited advice.
Still fuming, Portable went live on TikTok, warning people to caution the actress. He alleged that Ashabi had been posting ads from wealthy men and revealed she was planning a trip to South Africa. According to him, his attempts to stop her from traveling — even by trying to get her pregnant — had failed.
Surprisingly, just hours later, the singer appeared to have softened his stance, as he promoted her upcoming trip on his Instagram page, hinting at a possible reconciliation.
For over two years, Portable and Ashabi’s relationship has been a rollercoaster of love and conflict. Despite the constant drama and public clashes, the pair somehow continue to find their way back to each other.
