Psalm1 (Big Psalm), born Samson Okotoko Onoriode, is a dynamic multi-genre artist from Abuja with Delta and Ondo roots, known for blending Hip-Hop, Afropop, Pop, Reggae, and Trap into a sound that captures life, faith, and rhythm. His musical journey began early when his parents gifted him drums as a child, unknowingly setting him on the path to his calling. A graduate of Computer Science from NOUN, Psalm1 channels his personal experiences, emotions, and memories into music that is both soulful and energetic.

Influenced by global icons like Lil Wayne, Drake, Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, Kendrick Lamar, and African stars such as Burna Boy, Olamide, Wizkid, and Adekunle Gold, his music fuses international hip-hop grit with vibrant African sounds, creating a style that resonates across cultures. Each track reflects his journey, faith, and perspective on life, aiming to connect with listeners on a deeper level.

Beyond his artistry, Psalm1 is committed to inspiring the youth to trust God, embrace hard work, and never underestimate the power of prayer. His calm demeanor, clear vision, and relentless drive fuel his ambition to take African music to the global stage, with the Grammy Awards firmly in his sights. As African sounds—from Afrobeats to Amapiano—gain international recognition, Psalm1 positions himself as a voice of influence, guidance, and inspiration for a new generation, representing both the spirit and the potential of contemporary African music.
