Some Nigerians were left stunned as Burna Boy and Sophia Egbueje were spotted partying together in Lagos, months after the Lamborghini controversy.
Back in February 2025, socialite Sophia Egbueje publicly called out Burna Boy, accusing him of not keeping his promise after allegedly sleeping with her.
She claimed that the singer had a one-night stand with her and failed to deliver on his promise of buying her a Lamborghini.
In a leaked audio recording shared between Sophia and a friend, she recounted that the singer initially contacted her through a club owner to arrange their meeting, which was later delayed.

Following the development, Sophia Egbueje demonstrated that she deals with men wealthier than Burna Boy by purchasing a brand-new Lamborghini.
Clapping back, Burna Boy quickly dropped a freestyle, which led to the release of “Dem Dey” from his album No Sign of Weakness—a diss track aimed at Sophia Egbueje.
In a new clip that has sparked conversations online, Burna Boy was seen at Club DNA in Lagos with his right-hand man, King Manny, alongside Sophia Egbueje.
