Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has hit back at colleague Lizzy Anjorin after the latter appeared to throw shade her way.

In an angry Instagram post, Nkechi dared Lizzy to “pick a location” and promised she would “beat you like a small child,” while questioning who would want to follow endless social-media back-and-forths. Though she’d previously vowed to step away from online drama, Nkechi warned she won’t tolerate being provoked and threatened to “drag you back to your village” if pushed further.

She also addressed Lizzy directly in a mix of English and Yoruba, calling out what she described as repeated provocations and accusing Lizzy of inviting trouble onto herself:

“Lizzy Anjorin… pick a location. I will beat you like a small pikin. Who wants to follow this mad woman’s internet back-and-forth? I decided to stop online drama, but I will drag you to your village if you keep this up. All the curses you keep throwing at people are affecting you — yet you pretend I have no respect. Oloshi ni e, Lizzy!”

(The Yoruba lines are strong-language taunts and local idioms accusing Lizzy of wrongdoing and warning she will be held to account.)

Last month, Nkechi Blessing got emotional on social media as she addressed a woman’s attempt to damage her reputation. Fighting back tears, the actress reminded fans that she is only human, emphasizing that she earns her living honestly and doesn’t rely on men for survival.

Earlier in March, Nkechi had publicly apologized to anyone she may have offended, admitting that her past controversies cost her several endorsement deals. She expressed her desire to move forward and live a peaceful life.

In a follow-up post, the actress extended heartfelt appreciation to her loyal supporters, acknowledging their unwavering love and support as the reason she continues to thrive and enjoy life despite past challenges.
