May Edochie, estranged wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, has issued a cease-and-desist notice to her former lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, accusing him of cyberbullying, cyberstalking, and defamation.
In a letter from her legal team at Graylaw Partners, May alleged that Ugwuonye’s social media posts contained falsehoods that ridiculed her, damaged her reputation, and endangered her safety through malicious threats and false claims.
The letter further claimed that Ugwuonye’s actions incited third parties to spread harmful content, causing May significant harm. She demanded that he halt such posts, remove existing ones, issue a public apology, and publish a retraction across his platforms.
Additionally, May is seeking N1 billion in financial compensation for the alleged damages.
