Nollywood actresses Toyin Abraham and Wumi Toriola have reconciled, ending their long-standing feud in a heartwarming moment captured on video.
The emotional reunion occurred on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at a cinema in Ikeja, Lagos, where the two actresses happened to cross paths while promoting their respective projects.
Wumi Toriola was at the cinema to promote “Behind the Scenes,” a movie produced by Funke Akindele in which she starred, while Toyin Abraham was there to promote her new film, “Oversabi Aunty.”
In the viral video, the former close friends were seen sharing warm words and embracing, with Toyin Abraham telling Wumi, “I miss you,” and Wumi replying, “I miss you too.”
The heartfelt moment drew cheers from onlookers and quickly went viral on social media, with fans celebrating the reconciliation.
Toyin Abraham and Wumi Toriola were once known as close colleagues before their fallout several years ago. Their feud became public when they unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling widespread speculation among fans and industry observers.
Reports suggest that the rift began when Toyin Abraham chose not to cast Wumi Toriola in her cinema movie, a decision that reportedly strained their relationship.
Tensions were further heightened when Funke Akindele, who was not especially close to Wumi at the time, gave her a prominent role in the 2022 blockbuster “Battle on the Buka Street,” the same year Toyin released “Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper.”
With their public reconciliation now confirmed, fans and industry colleagues have lauded the actresses for choosing peace, describing the moment as a powerful testament to forgiveness and personal growth in Nollywood.
