TikTok content creator and disc jockey Bankyroy has shared how he felt when his wife died shortly after giving birth to their baby boy.

Naijabrain reports that he explained that the news of her death came to him as a shock, leaving him in a state he could not control.

In a video on his Instagram page, he said the baby, named Royaan, has since become his source of joy According to him, the child is calm, sleeps well, and does not cry much even after circumcision.

He described the boy as a blessing while praying for his protection.

He said: “When they told me my wife had passed away after she delivered a baby boy, I ran to the toilet and started pooping on the floor uncontrollably. The baby is very peaceful and doesn’t disturb despite the fact that he is not breastfeeding. Even after he was circumcised, he didn’t cry like other babies, he slept peacefully. He is my happiness. May God protect him for me. My wife’s parents had been down since she passed away.”

Bankyroy and his wife married in March, and the baby was born in August.

After the burial, he introduced his son to followers on TikTok, expressing his wish to be strong enough to play the role of both parents.

The loss came two years after the disc jockey had a near-death experience.

In September 2023, he was electrocuted while fixing an umbrella at his POS stand during rainfall.

The accident kept him in the hospital for six months, and doctors later amputated both of his hands.

He revealed that he was abandoned by his girlfriend at the time, but instead of giving up, he chose to build a career from his pain.

Since then, he has focused on disc jockeying and creating social media content that has drawn support and encouragement from many people.
