Tolani Tayo-Osikoya, popularly known as Chef T or Diary of a Kitchen Lover, hails from Nigeria. She showed early signs of culinary interest, growing up in a family of siblings where she often experimented in the kitchen, one memorable dish was her “greenest fried rice” at only about eight years old. She earned a degree in Accounting from Babcock University in 2012, yet her passion for food ultimately defined her path.

After graduating with her BSc in Accounting, Chef T worked in quite a different space before fully diving into food she did makeup, hair-styling, and sold hair products. In 2018, she launched her food blog and YouTube channel, Diary of a Kitchen Lover, sharing easy-to-follow recipes that blend Nigerian staples with global flavors. She won the Sterling Bank Jollof Master competition in 2019, a turning point that raised her profile in culinary circles. She balances her creative life with rigorous learning and brand building.
