Media personality Phyna has sparked a heated debate on polygamy in Nigeria, stating she is ready to marry five husbands if the law permits it.
The former Big Brother Naija (BBN) contestant in a post shared on her Instagram page on Saturday expressed her desire for women to be allowed to marry multiple partners, citing equality and freedom.
According to her, “The only thing I want now is for them to change the law.” She added that if the law permits it, women should be free to marry men openly, without hiding or waiting.

Phyna said she wouldn’t hesitate to take advantage of such a change, declaring, “I will marry like five men.” She added that she would treat all her husbands equally; buying them the same clothes and moving around together.
She concluded by proudly stating that she is ready to be a “polygamous woman,” with “husbands everywhere.”
