Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has issued a strong message to business owners about the importance of customer satisfaction.
Sharing her thoughts on Instagram on Sunday, the actress and ex-wife of Olakunle Churchill stressed that nothing beats leaving customers happy. She warned that giving customers a terrible experience—especially on their first purchase—can quickly drive them away and leave the business scrambling for new clients.
Tonto likened such behavior to “praying for grace while becoming the weapon working against that grace.”
She wrote:
“Dear business owners,
There is nothing better than leaving your customers satisfied.
I just can’t wait to finish this transaction; such a horrible experience (if your customers leave with this mentality).
It’s only a matter of time before you start looking for more customers.
And it’s worse when the experience is on the first buy.
It’s like praying for Grace and also being the weapon fashioned against Grace.”
In July, Tonto advised people to reduce excessive fasting and prayers over matters that simply require knowledge and action. She emphasized the importance of taking one’s hustle seriously every day.
Earlier this year, she appealed to Yoruba people to use English when fighting online so “internet judges” can easily determine who won. She extended the same advice to Ghanaians.
Last December, Tonto warned Nigerians about a new scam tactic where someone accuses innocent people of making fake transfers in public. She urged everyone to stay alert, describing the streets as “wild.”
In another reflective post, the mother of one spoke about the weight of one’s actions, noting that what we do in secret can shape our thoughts, choices, and future.
