Nollywood actress Eve Esin has shared a heartfelt testimony about getting married at 43.
The movie star, who traditionally tied the knot with her Ghanaian husband, Solomon, last week, reflected on her journey, emphasizing that “delay isn’t denial.” She revealed that she legally married at 43, keeping it private, then celebrated her 44th birthday on October 17 and had her traditional wedding publicly on October 18.

She revealed that she has been through it all and that nothing happens until God speaks. Eve promised to share her full story someday, expressing deep gratitude to God for helping her keep her faith through it all.
Using her experience as a point of contact, she extended prayers to everyone waiting for their life partner, declaring that their time will come too.

MERCY!!!

My post is to give hope to anyone who feels theirs is lost. I’m not a motivational speaker—just a child whom God showed mercy. I speak only from a place of truth.
I got legally married at 43, though I kept it very private (the photos will be shared soon). I turned 44 on October 17 and had my traditional wedding publicly on October 18.
For many, my testimony might seem impossible—
43 and not married? “Old cargo”?
But who can speak and have it come to pass when God has not spoken?
Beloved, I’ve been through it all, and someday I’ll share my full story. I’m deeply grateful to God for never allowing me to lose faith in Him.
Today, I join my faith with everyone who feels time is slipping away and declare: delay is not denial.
May the God of infinite mercy grant the desires of your heart and divinely connect you to the one who completes you, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Naijabrain reported a week ago that Eve Esin was preparing to walk down the aisle over the weekend. The actress had shared a pre-wedding photo on Instagram with her partner, whose identity she chose to keep private.
A day before the big event, she hosted a traditional-themed bridal shower attended by close friends and colleagues, including Empress Njamah and Nuella Njubigbo.
On Saturday, October 18, the actress and her partner sealed their union in a star-studded traditional wedding ceremony held in her hometown of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Recall that in 2020, Eve had reportedly gotten engaged and announced the news on Instagram, though she kept her fiancé’s identity hidden. Sadly, things appeared to fall apart as she later deleted all engagement posts.
Not long after, an Instagram blogger claimed that Eve was involved with a Nollywood producer, alleging that the man had abandoned his young family to pursue a relationship with her.
