On Tuesday, the National Assembly opened the office of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central.
With the help of security guards, the National Assembly’s Sergeant-at-Arms opened her office, which was in Suite 2.05 of the Senate Wing.
Since the senator’s suspension from the Red Chamber on March 6, 2025, the office has been under lock and key.
Alabi Adedeji, the Sergeant-at-Arms’ deputy director, was seen taking off the red seal from the office door in a video that was circulated on Tuesday.
“I, Alabi Adedeji, Sergeant-at-Arms Deputy Director, now open my office. Thus, the office is opened. In the video, he stated, “Thank you.”
In March, the Senate suspended the troubled member for six months and prohibited her from taking part in any 10th Senate activities due to suspected misconduct during her demonstration against Senate President Godswill Akpabio’s relocation of her seat on February 20.
