Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has opened up about the biggest lesson he’s learned from working with Afrobeats heavyweights Wizkid and Davido, and it all boils down to hard work.

In a recent chat with media personality Elsie, the rapper recalled being struck by Wizkid’s dedication to music despite his global success and wealth.

“Hard work. Wizkid goes to the studio at 11 p.m. with all that money he has. If he decides to stop recording music today, he’s good,” Odumodublvck said.

For him, that commitment is proof that greatness isn’t just about talent or fame. It’s about consistency, discipline, and a willingness to keep creating, even when you don’t have to.

Beyond the collaborations themselves, Odumodublvck says working alongside Wizkid and Davido has been like an education. It’s shown him firsthand the kind of grind and professionalism that separates industry leaders from legends, a mindset he’s now determined to carry into his own journey.
