Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has left many talking after she revealed her real age.
The controversial actress, via her Instagram page, shared photos of herself, her mother, and her daughter, revealing their ages as 70, 36, and 17 years.

Laide, claiming to be 36, didn’t sit down with netizens who took to the comment section to drag her.

Last year, actress, Uche Ogbodo had a face-off with a troll, who didn’t believe she was 38 and had expressed hope that she was honest with her husband about her real age. Uche expressed how disgusted she was as she shared a photo of her passport Bio-data. She made the troll know that while she was sleeping, she was already a star.
Also, last year, while celebrating her 35th birthday, actress, Nkechi Blessing had lashed out at those accusing her of reducing her age. She stated that they could keep choking on her age as she shamed them for being stagnant.
Billionaire ex-wife and Actress, Caroline Danjuma was mercilessly dragged online last year after she claimed she was turning 35. She slammed her trolls, calling them unintelligent, as she also shared photos of her mother who she stated was in her 50s, and had addressed those asking for her certificates.
To add to it, Big Brother Naija winner, Mercy Eke came under fire after her real age was exposed. An unbothered Mercy sarcastically addressed it, and in an exchange with a troll, she revealed her real age.
Her sister, Sweery Eke, had also defended her by sharing a screenshot of her birth certificate, and slamming her sister’s troll.
In an Instagram post, Monalisa Chinda had thrown a subtle shade at those who tend to falsify their age. She had proudly declared that she was proud of her age even as she accepts the fact that she was getting older.
